Maintenance and calibration of WIM systems

Systems provided by Traffic Data Systems can be used under extreme climatic conditions thanks to the use of high-quality components. Heaters or air-conditioned cabinets are only necessary in exceptional cases.

In spite of careful selection of the components and assemblies used, on account of their overall complexity, we recommend that systems be checked and calibrated at regular intervals.

As well as the calibration specifications from COST 323 and TLS 2012, Traffic Data Systems has developed its own and more cost-effective processes for the initial and subsequent calibration of the systems. These processes mainly run automatically and can be checked online.
