Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, consignments are insured for \u20ac 500. Should you require faster delivery (e.g. UPS Express or similar) or a higher sum insured, please notify us of this in writing in advance. The cost of insurance ranges from 0.5 to 1.0 per cent of the value of the goods. Unless you provide us with the value of the goods, we will determine an appropriate value based on the original price or the residual value. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Damage caused during Transport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shipment\/parcel must be checked for damage by the recipient upon handover by the shipping company\/courier in the courier\u2019s presence. Should any external damage to the shipment\/parcel be detected, you must ensure that this is photographed in the courier\u2019s presence and noted in their system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, you must check the goods for completeness and integrity (including a functional test) within 2 working days of receipt. Should the goods be incomplete or damaged, Traffic Data Systems must be notified in writing within 2 working days of receipt.
